The red, white and blue "Home Ownership Matters" bus is coming to Spokane today, March 28th, where it will be parked in the Riverfront Park Rotary Fountain Plaza at noon (Spokane Falls Boulevard and North Howard Street).
Spokane area Realtors will gather for a group photo with the bus, then speak directly with leadership from the National Association of Realtors and the Spokane Association of Realtors about home ownership issues that matter most today. Consumers are invited to join the discussion. This is the only Washington state stop on the tour. The bus is scheduled to depart around 3pm.
The "Home Ownership Matters" bus tour is a project of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) to promote the benefits of home ownership. The tour includes stops in Chicago, Denver and Portland. NAR recognized the challenges facing Realtors during the current recession and launched the Home Ownership Matters campaign. Through advocacy and outreach to lawmakers, consumers, thought leaders and the media, NAR is working to preserve this important American institution and provide Realtors and state and local associations with valuable information and tools to address concerns from clients and the community. Visit www.HouseLogic.com/bus for more information.
