The new Trader Joe's at Lincoln Heights is expected to be open this October.
Vandervert Development is giving the entire Lincoln Heights Shopping Center a new look.
There's an exciting transformation occurring on 29th avenue on Spokane's south hill. From Ray street on the east to Grand on the west a number of construction projects are changing the look of that area, and adding some new businesses. The new Trader Joe's building in Lincoln Heights Shopping Center is really taking shape and should be open by Thanksgiving. And Vandervert Development is upgrading the look of the whole shopping center and you can see how it's going to look starting with the Coldstone Creamery space at the southeast end. Across 29th in the Rosauers complex a Flaming Joe's restaurant is going in where Chapalla used to be. And to the west, at 29th and Grand, work has begun on a new Ross store and another retailer in Lamonts former building and the entire Manito Center, including Super One Foods is being remodeled.

After a comprehensive five month process, InCyte Pathology was named one of Seattle Business magazine's "100 Best Companies To Work For" in 2011. Receipt of the award may be new; however, InCyte employees have known for a long time they work for a great company. Annual internal surveys reveal that employees appreciate a great set of generous benefits, a respectful professional environment and support for continuing medical education for every employee.
The award process commenced in January after readers nominated hundreds of companies. A round of questions regarding benefits was submitted to qualifying companies the following month. The nominations were then pared and employees of the finalists were canvassed on topics from company communications and culture to leadership and benefits. Data from over 350 companies was evaluated by the judging panel before final selections were made.
