Local company, Davesbillboard.com takes on Craigslist

After two years of development, DavesBillboard.com recently launched its buyer/seller website, offering everything a small business and savvy consumer needs in one convenient location. Thing feature that sets DavesBillboard.com apart is their commitment to donating ten percent of the proceeds to wounded soldier programs.

"When held up to Craig's List, Davesbillboard.com is easier to use, safer for the user and offers greater security and flexibility," said Dave Spiker, founder of DavesBillboard.com. "While simultaneously creating a platform to help our wounded veterans."

Locally owned and operated, DavesBillboard.com allows buyers and sellers to connect easily and securely. With the exception of the Business, Food and Lodging listings, all other areas of the site are absolutely free.

Their website platform has two specific goals. Help benefit local businesses compete with much larger corporations via their Virtual Mall design. Small businesses often do not have the resources to create a website, but with Davesbillboard.com they can create personalized pages to sell their product or services, which they can update anytime with no fees. DavesBillboard.com also offers features in the form of Business Power Pages. These Power Pages allow users to create sales flyers, coupons, smart phone QR codes, embed video, connect to social media and more.

Dave Spiker started this site with four other partners who saw the need to better organize buyer and seller information on the web combined with the dire need to support veteran's organizations. DavesBillboard.com is using Spokane as a test site to launch in other markets nationally in the near future. Follow Davesbillboard.com on Twitter @davesbillboard, Facebook and YouTube.
