Dean Davis Editions becomes a Hahnemuhle Certified Studio

Dean Davis Editions has created a niche in the Spokane fine art market. For over a decade, the studio has produced large, archival fine art reproductions. In August, the studio received international recognition by becoming a Hahnemuhle Certified Studio.

"The certification means that that the studio has been vetted by one of the most well respected and oldest paper manufacturers in the world," says Dean Davis, owner of Dean Davis Editions and Dean Davis Photography.

In August 2013, Dean Davis Editions became a Hahnemuhle Certified Studio for digital fine art printing. Of the 150+ certified studios around the globe (located in 25 countries, ranging from Brazil to Japan), only 19 of those are in the U.S., the majority of which are located in Illinois, New York and California.

A German paper manufacturer, Hahnemuhle has produced paper uninterrupted since 1584 and has a long history of producing traditional fine art papers as well as industrial paper. In today's digital age, the company has combined tradition and innovation to develop a line of digital fine art papers.
