Hanna & Associates signs largest casino in North America

Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut, the largest casino in North America, has selected Coeur d'Alene ad agency Hanna & Associates to create two separate multi-media ad campaigns. The campaigns, already in development, are slated to begin launching in February with a broad mix of media including television, radio, outdoor, online, and social/interactive components, as well as significant messaging in and around the 9 million sq. ft. property itself.

Foxwoods Resort Casino is one of the premier hotel, gaming, shopping and entertainment destinations in the Northeast. As the largest resort casino in North America, Foxwoods offers a vast array of gaming in six casinos; AAA Four-Diamond hotels, restaurants from gourmet to express, world-renowned spas, awarding-winning golf, state-of-the-art theaters, and exclusive retailers. Foxwoods Resort Casino is owned and operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. For a comprehensive look at Foxwoods Resort Casino and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation visit Foxwoods.com.

Hanna, which recently expanded to West Palm, Florida, continues to earn national attention in the casino industry, thanks in large part to its work for Spokane's Northern Quest Resort & Casino. In recent years, Hanna creative has taken top honors for Best Website and Best Television Spot at the international Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. Closer to home, the agency's popular 'Mark & Brooke' campaign, developed for Northern Quest, was named Best Local TV Commercial in The Inlander weekly's annual reader's poll.

Hanna & Associates was founded in 1977 and has grown to become one of the Inland Northwest's largest full-service marketing communications companies. The firm helps clients develop strategic marketing programs and specializes in brand development and management, traditional and digital advertising and promotion, interactive design and development, website design and programming, and media planning and purchasing. Hanna & Associates is a member of the American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA).

Providence Health Care Foundation is On the Move

On January 20, Providence Health Care Foundation is relocating its headquarters to the second floor of the Wells Fargo Building, in downtown Spokane. Joyce M. Cameron and her team are moving to make room for the expanding Providence Center for Congenital Heart Disease, which will be taking over the current foundation space at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital.

The foundation will continue to have an office staffed five days a week, on the 4th floor of the Children's Hospital. This brings the number of foundation 'satellite' offices to three; Providence Holy Family is staffed twice a week and there is also an office at St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute. "We want to make it as easy as possible to do business with the foundation," said Joyce. All foundation phone numbers will stay the same.

In 2015 Providence Health Care Foundation awarded 463 grants totaling more than $5.8 million to support a wide range of initiatives at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital, Providence Holy Family Hospital, St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute, Providence Mount Carmel Hospital and Providence St. Joseph's Hospital.

Also, Providence Health Care Foundation, Eastern Washington, has elected Jer McGregor, general manager of The Inlander, to its board of directors. Board leadership includes: Michael O'Malley, NAC Architecture, president; Dave Peden, Coffman Engineers, vice president; Karla Greer, Voya Financial Advisors, secretary; and Helen Andrus, Providence Health Care, treasurer.
