Construction starts today for a new restaurant coming to River Park Square. The owners of Twigs Bistro & Martini Bar chain are building Tortilla Union, a 4,200 square-foot southwestern grill-style restaurant which will be in the former Ann Taylor Loft location, just east of Nordstrom and next to Williams Sonoma on the main floor. It is scheduled to open this summer. Watch their progress at tortillaunion.com.

Also, Rio Grill Brazilian Express has located in the River Park Square food court, next to Panda Express in the former Cruisers spot. Rio Grill offers a healthier alternative to fast food.
