Noodle Express celebrates grand opening in Airway Heights

Noodle Express, officially celebrated the grand opening of their 11th restaurant last Friday. Located at the Crosspointe Plaza shopping development in Airway Heights, the new location includes a dine-in area, drive-through window as well as patio seating. Noodle Express features 'Pan-Asian' dishes with flavor notes from Japan, China, Thailand and Hawaii.

Spokane Exercise Equipment moving

Spokane Exercise Equipment is moving about half a block west from its current location in the former Huppins store, to 511 West Main, at Stevens, into the first-floor retail space of the Parkade, where Sport Town used to be. The new store should be open in August.

City of Spokane's Downtown Central plan event July 25

The City of Spokane is planning for the future of downtown Spokane this year with an update to Downtown Plan called Downtown Central.

Learn about the Downtown Plan, key components of the plan, and a variety of projects planned for the core at a public outreach table adjacent to the Night Market at Kendall Yards this Wednesday, July 25, from 4 to 7 p.m. The table will be on the south side of Summit Boulevard to the west of Cedar. Staff from the City, Spokane Transit Authority, and the Downtown Spokane Partnership will be on hand.

Over $24 million in construction projects begin at Spokane International Airport

As reported by the Spokane Journal of Business, four construction projects are underway at Spokane International Airport this month. They include routine runway and taxiway maintenance, two new parking lot expansions, and tenant improvements with a total cost of over $24 million. Work is scheduled to be completed by October.

Annual Showcase celebrity golf tourney this Saturday at CdA Resort Golf Course

From two-time World Series Champion Roger Clemens to two-time Super Bowl Champion Jim McMahon, to NHL legend Wayne Gretzky, the Showcase will bring together an array of national celebrities for a nine-hole golf exhibition at the world-renowned Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course this Saturday, July 28th. For just $10, spectators can walk the course with their favorite celebrity, enjoy beverages and various food truck options, attend a concert on the course and do all of it while raising funds to help fight cancer in the Inland Northwest.

The Community Cancer Fund, benefactor of the Showcase, is dedicated to fighting cancer in the Inland Northwest by funding local cancer prevention and screening programs, supporting cancer patients and their families at every stage of their illness and recovery and funding groundbreaking local research.

Vintage Spokane is Sunday at the Davenport Grand

Vintage Spokane: A Wine and Food Affair, is coming to the Davenport Grand Hotel this Sunday. This year's event will feature over 60 wineries and local gourmet bites. Hours are 2-6pm for VIP tickets and 3-6pm for general admission.

"Choose Local Fest in the Park" set for August 18 in Coeur d'Alene

"Choose Local Fest in the Park" will be August 18 at the Coeur d'Alene City Park by the lake. Well over 10,000 consumers are expected to visit the event to meet locally owned business.
