The Queen is coming to Spokane
— The YWCA of Spokane announced today that Queen Latifah will be coming to Spokane for a one-of-a-kind event, entitled 'A Conversation with the Queen: A Night of Triumph with Queen Latifah.' The evening will feature Queen Latifah sharing her own true stories of challenge and triumph which have shaped her life and inspired countless women across the world. The event will raise money for the YWCA's unduplicated programs to empower women, providing services which help thousands of women each year overcome domestic violence, access important services for their children, and secure employment and housing.
'A Conversation with the Queen: A Night of Triumph with Queen Latifah.' will be held March 22, 2012 at the Spokane Arena's Star Theatre. Tickets go on sale today, Monday, November 7th at 10am at the Spokane Arena Box Office (720 West Mallon Ave), all TicketsWest Outlets, TicketsWest.com and 800-325-SEAT.
Corporate sponsorships and group ticket sales are both available. Contact Betsy Godlewski at the YWCA at 509-789-9304 and betsyg@ywcaspokane.org.
