The 'Tree' is growing!

Spokane Symphony Associates has expanded Christmas Tree Elegance into River Park Square with a parade of six trees located on the 2nd & 3rd floors. For 29 years, Spokane Symphony Associates has been able to make this event possible through donations from public and private donors. Each of the 18 ornately decorated trees offers a unique package of prizes valued up to $4,999. Twelve trees will remain at the original Davenport location, while six new trees decorate the halls of the River Park Square Mall. At $1 per ticket, raffle entry is available to everyone 18 years and older. The more tickets you purchase, the better chance you have to win your favorite holiday tree.

Through Christmas Tree Elegance, Spokane Symphony Associates has been able to donate over $150,000 a year for the past several years in support of the Spokane Symphony Orchestra. This year's expansion comes with the intent to substantially increase that amount. This will bring SSA's lifetime total to over $2.5 Million. This exciting family tradition is brought to the Inland Northwest through countless hours of devoted volunteers. Traditionally, during the 12 day event alone, there are over 6,000 hours of volunteer time to ensure a successful event and bright future for our local symphony.

CTE President, Larry Davis, says "It is rewarding to know that CTE has become an essential part of the downtown Spokane Christmas tradition. We want to share our passion for the Orchestra and awaken awareness in the next generation of civic supporters. We're excited that River Park Square and Downtown Spokane Partnership have committed to join us in this mission." If you would like to get involved or would like to request additional information, please contact: Larry Davis, President Spokane Symphony Associates 509-280-4798 or lndavis29@comcast.net.
