Weight Watchers opens stores

— Weight Watchers has opened storefronts in north Spokane and Spokane Valley where members can meet and weigh in, and where the company sells diet foods and weight-loss tools. The North Side store is at 814 W. Francis Ave., Suite 4, and the Valley store opened after Christmas at 13910 E. Indiana Ave., Suite C, next to Hobby Lobby and HoneyBaked Ham. Each location will host Weight Watchers group meetings, and staff will be on hand to answer questions. The stores are open daily by 9 a.m. and will close around 7 or 8 p.m. weekdays, 2 p.m. on weekends.

They will also offer Weight Watchers food items for sale including sweet and salty snacks, smoothie mixes and oatmeal. Program materials are also available for members to buy, including food scales, cookbooks, measuring spoons, pedometers and exercise kits.

You can get Weight Watcher meeting details at http://www.weightwatchers.com.
