S-R Media Launches New Integrated Print and Digital Subscription Package

— S-R Media, featuring The Spokesman-Review and spokesman.com, announces Connected packages, which offer consumers a new way to get news and information how and when they want, including a new customizable eNewsletter that delivers only the news a customer requests directly to email.

Over the past two years, newspaper reader preferences have changed with the growth of web and mobile technology. The rapid adoption of smart phones and digital tablets has increased the scope of choices that readers have regarding the way they choose to receive news. S-R Media, the local leader in delivery of news content, entertainment and information, offers a range of products across multiple platforms that meet the lifestyle of every reader. The new Connected packages consolidate these products and offer customers several platform options via several low-priced subscription packages.

The 'basic' Connected package includes The-e (a digital replica of The Spokesman-Review print edition), complete access to spokesman.com and spokesman mobile, access to all tablet and Smartphone apps, and the new eNewsletter. The Connected package costs $1.99 per week. For an additional cost-per-week, subscribers can choose to add home delivery of the print edition on the frequency that best meets their needs.

One of the new digital features is an eNewsletter, which enables subscribers to pick and choose which articles they would like delivered to their email on a daily basis. Customization options include topic choices such as local news, sports, in addition to blogs, columns and stories by individual reporters.

Current print subscribers automatically receive access to the Connected package as part of their subscription.
