The MAC's Father's Day Garage Mahal Tour

— Saturday June 19, from 11 am to 5 pm, the MAC has teamed up with Spokane businesses and collectors to present a fascinating tour. At Spokane's historic Felts Field, get up close to one-of-kind planes and talk to the pilots. See the world's oldest flying Boeing, other exotic aircraft, and a matching precision flying fleet of World War II era Stearman biplanes.

Ride a train, see locomotives and train cars, and visit the Pullman train car museum hosted by the Inland Empire Railroad Historical Society at their Spokane Interstate Fairgrounds museum.

See behind the scenes at a working precision factory. MacKay Manufacturing has been making precision tools and parts for military and medical applications for more than 50 years. MacKay employees will take you on a guided tour of this Spokane family business whose products are used around the world.

See an array of motorcycles and memorabilia in an exotic restoration shop and private museum. Harley Davidson, Merkel, and others span more than 100 years of motorcycle technology including a modern high-speed custom bike readied for Bonneville speed testing.

Treat dad to a Longhorn Barbeque feast. Your Garage Mahal Tour ticket includes meal discounts at this presenting partner restaurant. Tickets are available at the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture and Longhorn Barbeque Restaurants. Members $10. Non-Members $15. Kids $7.00 (5 and under are free). Go to www.northwestmuseum.org for more information.
