The Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce announces Awards of Excellence winners

— The Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce announced the winners of the Awards of Excellence at the Gem of the Valley Gala held January 26 at the Mirabeau Park Hotel and Convention Center in Spokane Valley. In addition, the Harry E. Nelson Citizen of the Year Award was presented to Bill Gothmann for his many contributions and service to the Greater Spokane Valley community.

Here are the winners:
Business of the Year, Tier I - Independent Wealth Connections
Business of the Year, Tier II - Greenstone Corporation
Entrepreneur of the Year - The Grounds Guys - Kenny Smith
Human Services Award - HUB Sports Center
Community Caring Award - Avista
Chamber Member Volunteer of the Year - Cindra Shields
Chamber Ambassador of the Year - Jennifer Nemes
Educators of the Year - Central Valley School District-Morgen Larsen; West Valley School District - Patricia Perrenoud
Special Lifetime Achievement Award - Dick Behm
