Streetcars, aerial tram or electric trolley buses? Your input is needed.

— The City of Spokane and the Spokane Transit Authority are working together to complete The Spokane Downtown Transit Alternative Analysis to identify a high performance transit service that will connect major activity centers within the downtown core. The study area encompasses the hospitals and lower south hill to the south, the University District and east Sprague business district to the east, Browne's Addition and Peaceful Valley to the west, and the West Central, Emerson Garfield and Logan neighborhoods to the north. A Public Open House is planned for Tuesday, June 29th from 6-8pm at the Champions Room, Spokane Arena, 720 West Mallon. You can learn more about the project, the groups working to ensure its success, find past studies related to downtown transportation, review the timeline, project documents and more online at www.connectdowntown.info. Questions? Contact Molly Myers, at MMyers@SpokaneTransit.com.
