AGORA Award Finalists Announced

— Eighteen companies and organizations have been named finalists for the AGORA Awards, the annual Greater Spokane Incorporated program that honors business excellence in our region. Finalists were among 253 nominations, which were narrowed down to 34 semi-finalist companies. The 18 finalists will be interviewed by a group of volunteer judges from the regional business and nonprofit community.

The finalists in each category are:

Small Business: Signs for Success, Zipline Interactive, The Heart Attack and Stroke Prevention Center, Two Wheel Transit

Medium Business: VEBA Service Group, Humanix Staffing and Recruiting Services, Arbor Crest Wine Cellars, Associated Industries

Large Business: Rosauers Supermarkets, Inc., STCU, Wagstaff, Schweitzer Engineering

Small Nonprofit: Meals on Wheels Spokane, Spokane Public Market, HOPE School

Large Nonprofit: Christ Clinic-Christ Kitchen, Catholic Charities of Spokane, Boys and Girls Club of Spokane

All finalists are eligible for the Community Service and Entrepreneurial Spirit awards. Winners will be announced at the AGORA Awards on June 5 at The Davenport Hotel.
