Mortimore Productions, making your business look good and sound good

Left to right, Dan Mortimore, Angela Mortimore Downey, Ray Gross

Mortimore Productions has been producing film, video and audio projects, since 1987. Dan Mortimore, owner, started operation of his recording studio and video production facilities, after 12 years in commercial broadcasting, and 2 years with Spokane advertising agency, Clark-White & Associates.

The company produces media content for advertising agencies and corporations, ranging from broadcast TV/Radio, industry tradeshow events, training, fundraiser, and web videos. Angela Downey, Dan's daughter, has worked for the company for over 17 years, and is the executive producer and marketing director, and also an experienced voice talent. Ray Gross, the company's video editor, has been with Mortimore Productions for over 4 years, is a skilled director of photography, and experienced audio engineer as well. As a team, they work hand in hand to execute video and audio projects for many Northwest clients.

Recently, the company moved its studios from its 18-year location on Maple & Garland, to its new location on the 2nd floor of The Service Station building located on north Nevada. "Location doesn't seem to be a factor with most clients these days, because phones and email make us so connected," says Dan Mortimore. "After we shoot a project on location, our clients can choose to edit with us at the studio or we can simply edit on our own, email files, discuss changes and proceed without our client ever having to leave their office." That's how business is done in most cases, and the company continues to thrive as they grow with the ever-changing world of media.

Mortimore and staff recently finished a TV commercial for Montana based, Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply. The commercial will play at rodeo events in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Montana throughout the spring and summer. Footage was shot in Montana and at Hooper Crossing Ranch, located in Hooper, WA. Murdoch's has produced radio and TV for their 23 stores covering MT, WY, NE, and CO markets, with Mortimore since 2005. You can learn more at www.mortimore.com or by calling 509-327-8384.
