Studio Forensics Academy opens for training and consulting

Studio Forensics Academy, LLC, recently launched and is a privately funded higher education academy and consulting firm located in our very own downtown's Spokane Technology Center, 120 N Pine, Suite 178. The Academy, at the crossroads of Division and Riverside in the University District, is both a science center and consulting firm. The school teaches computer security disciplines to students and professionals of all ages, regardless of technical expertise. On the consulting side, they provide computer forensic, network security, and decryption technologies, among other services. Raj Chauhan, former operator in our U.S. Special Operations Command and corporate vice president of a fortune 500 financial firm's High Tech Investigations Unit (HTIU) leads the academy's initiatives.

Students attending SFA courses will experience a digital battleground of state-of-the-art surface computing platforms and an array of operating systems. Students should be self-sufficient during the time of instruction, have a strong desire to want to learn the material, and agree to SFA's academic policies. The academy has special rates for both college and high school students. You can call them directly for these prices. SFA's class size is currently 12 students and their auditorium consists of a proprietary controlled area network. The SFA network is unique in that it is designed to simulate various work environments that students may find themselves working in.

Currently, their introductory courses are three to five days in length. Each day consists of eight hours of instruction comprised of presentations, laboratory exercises, and hands-on training simulations. Presentations take place in a unique learning environment where students may choose to sit, stand, or even lounge on a couch during the time of instruction. SFA utilizes mind map technologies and encourage ideas to be written on walls, on the glass, or using their interactive surface computing forensic platforms.

This is truly a unique business and educational opportunity where you can learn how to defend yourself in the digital frontier. If you would like more information contact SFA or if you are considering taking one of their courses you can apply a 5% discount code during online registration; use code SFACP13.
