Business Week at Gonzaga University through Saturday

— More than 150 high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors statewide will be on the Gonzaga University campus Saturday, July 13 through July 19 to learn more about business principles during the 38th annual Business Week 2014, co-sponsored by Washington Business Week and Gonzaga.

The week-long, intensive summer program provides university-level, experiential learning and hands-on mentorship with Washington business leaders and executives, making it unlike any youth program in the marketplace. Students are placed in an actual business simulation and then asked to solve problems and make tough decisions in a real-world economy context.

Students will give presentations to stockholders/board of directors, and conduct Trade Shows from 9:30 a.m.-noon Friday July 18 in Cataldo Hall. The students will design, create and exhibit to "investors" a new product or service and use their creativity to draw Trade Show judges to their booths and get them to invest in their companies.
