The Spokesman-Review to launch Platinum in June

Platinum will be a quarterly guide to fine living scheduled for a June launch. This new, high end publication is sophisticated, designed for maximum visual appeal, and targeted to affluent home owners. Platinum is The Spokesman-Review's answer to glossy magazines, but without prohibitive magazine pricing.

Platinum will capture three key components of fine living: 'Look,' 'Space,' and 'Leisure.' The items in our lives that make us feel good about ourselves, our homes and how we spend our free time. The design of the content and advertisements will evoke a sense of style, elegance and luxury.

Platinum will be mailed directly to each consumer's home. Each issue will display a clean and eye-catching cover design. The audience will be 40,000 households with incomes of $75,000-plus in the Spokane Core Based Statistical Area. Platinum will be published on glossy-stock paper in a broadsheet format.

With 12 full-color pages of local content, Platinum is scheduled to publish this year in the first weeks of June, September and December. And in 2016, The Spokesman-Review is already planning on Platinum publishing in March, June, September and December.
