Timber Gastro Pub opens in Post Falls

— Timber Gastro Pub, a stunning new restaurant designed by HDG Hissong + Hurtado Design Group, is now open at 1610 E Schneidmiller Avenue in Post Falls, the former location of the Hot Rod Cafe. Timber serves high-end beer(12-16 on tap), wine and food, including flatbread pizza, wood oven-baked appetizers, gourmet burgers, vegetarian options, tacos and more. The restaurant prides itself in fresh made bread, tortillas and even makes their own ketchup.

Bill Miller and Randy Ingraham, who also own the Longhorn BBQ and Maggie's South Hill Grill, are the new owners. HDG's design gave a dramatic change to the exterior and interior of the building, honoring the timber industry which has had a huge economic impact on Post Falls over the years. The unique design features large old timbers that were milled near St. Maries giving the restaurant a feeling of warmth and strength. Timber seats 200 and has a staff of 40, including executive chef Jeff Chatigny and Sous Chef Darin Eakin. Timber will be open seven days a week with lunch and dinner hours. Lunch prices start at $9, with dinner items to $25 tops. The phone number is 208-262-9593.
