Hennessey Funeral Homes and Crematories offers Lavender Festivals to benefit the Tears Foundation

— Hennessey Funeral Homes and Crematories will be holding Lavender Festivals beginning Father's Day June 21 to benefit the Tears Foundation. The events are free to people over 65. Others will be admitted with a donation to The Tears Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides funds to assist with the cost of burial or cremation services for families who have lost a baby.

The Lavender Festivals will be held at 1006 N Summit Blvd from 10am until 3pm on June 21, June 26, June 27, June 29, June 30, and July 1. Attendees can cut and take home a bouquet of fresh lavender, watch and try the art of lavender wand making, and learn how to properly dry this beautiful purplish herb that inspires a feeling of calm while easing depression and anxiety. Lavender wands will be on sale, all proceeds to benefit The Tears Foundation.
