New Pet Emergency Clinic complete and open for business

Baker Construction and Development has completed the new Pet Emergency Clinic, at 21 E. Mission Avenue, between Division and Ruby. Spokane's only full-service emergency veterinary care center has 1800-square-feet of space and provides care for critically ill or injured pets. The clinic also offers care in the event of injury or illness that may not be life threatening, but is painful to your pet or a concern to your family.

The Pet Emergency Clinic was established in 1977 to provide emergency and critical care during evenings, weekends, and holidays when many other regular veterinary clinics are typically closed. It is directly supported by most of the veterinarians in the Spokane area, and in many cases, is an extension of the medical services provided by regular veterinary clinics.

The PEC is a fully-equipped veterinary facility with the ability to provide both medical and surgical care for critically injured or ill pets. At least one of their licensed veterinarians (all of whom are members of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society - VECCS) is on the premises during all hours of operation, and specially trained staff is ready to provide timely and appropriate urgent care. Supportive diagnostic aids, such as digital radiography, endoscopy, ultrasound, electrocardiology, and other clinical laboratory equipment are on the premises. For more information visit their website at petemergencyspokane.com.
