The NW Museum of Arts & Culture's Annual Mother's Day Tour this weekend

Enjoy one of Spokane's great traditions, the 27th Annual Mother's Day Tour of Historic Homes, presented by the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture. This year's tour will feature two rarely seen beautiful homes on West Sumner Ave. Homes will be open from cellar to attic, showcasing both families who live there and the history of the neighborhood. You will also be able to see Dorothy Dean's kitchen (The Spokesman-Review famous recipe author), Myrtle Woldson's impressive garden, and great views of Spokane. The tour also includes viewing of historic automobiles, live music, and a self-guided walking tour of the neighborhood.

The tour runs from 12-4pm this Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8 (Mother's Day). Admission is $20 for non-members, and $15 for members. Tickets available at www.northwestmuseum.org. Tickets will also be sold in front of both open homes during the tour.
