Kendall Yards Night Market opens May 18

The Kendall Yards Night Market is an independent farmers market, organized by the Kendall Yards community and Greenstone Corporation. Their mission is to support small farms and build community. The market is located on Summit Parkway between Cedar and Adams Alley in the Kendall Yards retail district. Ample free vendor and customer parking is available on adjacent surface lots. The Kendall Night Market was hugely successful during its inaugural year last year. They won 2nd Place in the Inlander's Best Of contest (out of about 10 markets) and are one of only four Finalists (Small Business category) for GSI's Agora Award.

This year Opening Night is Wednesday, May 18, 4-8pm. Then every Wednesday from mid-May to mid-October, also from 4-8pm. They average 2,000-3,000 visitors each week and have over 50 vendors.

The market has everything you need for dinner and entertainment. Wide of varieties of fruits, vegetables, and herbs, cheese, honey, pastured eggs and meat. Baked goods, pickles, and jams, gorgeous bouquets, and plants. Everything is local, in season, and much is organic. They also host a gathering of street food vendors, from tacos to wood-fired pizza and grass-fed burgers.
