Spokane's Party Palace is Party HQ all year round

(L to right Michelle Duncan, daughter Patty Short, Dan Duncan)

Whether it's a birthday, anniversary, Valentine's Day, any holiday, Luau, Fiesta, or Super Bowl, the Party Palace, at 2607 N Division Street, has been providing a lot of the fun. Started in 1988 by Glenn Johnson, when the party industry was just getting going. There were mostly party stores in California and the east coast, and Party Palace was Spokane's first party store. Their first location, for ten years, was at Division at Sinto, north across the street from Zips. They built their new building in 1998 and have been there going on 19 years. It's still a family business with daughter Michele, husband Dan Duncan and daughter Patty Short running the popular store.

Right now the Party Palace is stocked for Super Bowl LI. While that's always a big party day, owner Michelle Duncan said she sure wishes the Seahawks were playing again. Because of their relationship with their suppliers, they were able to increase their orders substantially when the Hawks were in. The Super Bowl items for this year have been on order for months, were shipped and in the store just days after the two teams were known. The store also has a great variety of decor in dozens of themes, gifts, and other fun stuff right now for Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day and Mardi Gras, as well as over 80 different children's party patterns. Also popular year-round are their everyday costumes, wigs, and accessories. And there are about sixteen racks of cards for every occasion, and some you never thought of.

Party Palace is open 9am to 7pm every day. You can learn more on facebook. The phone number is 509-327-1242.
