Kaiser Aluminum receives Patriot Award

— CPT Ryan Snedegar, US Army Reserves, nominated his civilian supervisor, Jack Butters, for a Patriot Award. Several of Kaiser's employees were present for the award ceremony. Ray Ortega and Sandy Kates, ESGR East Area Representatives, presented the Patriot Award, which publicly recognizes individuals who provide outstanding support of their employees who have answered their nation's call to serve.

During the award ceremony, Butters formally signed a statement of support, pledging Kaiser's commitment to recognize and support service members and their families. Kaiser is very proud to be 'Made In America' and to support veterans or military members currently serving in the Guard and Reserve, such as Snedegar.

ESGR provides education, mediation, and recognizes supportive employers of Guard and Reserve employees. More information about ESGR Employer Outreach Programs and volunteer opportunities is available at www.esgr.mil, or by calling 800-336-4590.
