Little Spokane River Artist Studio Tour is this Saturday

— It's the region's most unique art event. The 10th Anniversary Little Spokane River Artist Studio Tour this Saturday, September 30 from 10-5. It will have 3 dozen artists divided up between the 4 studios of Jill Smith, Gina Freuen, Shani Marchant and Kay O'Rourke.

Original works are available for sale in a multitude of mediums including painting, metal sculpture, pottery, jewelry, photography, wood, fiber and clothing design, leather, origami, and mixed media sculpture. And all the artists will be there to answer questions and discuss process.

All studios have free parking close to the studios. The two furthest points (O'Rourke Studio to Smith Studio) in the studio tour are only 5 miles apart from one another or 11 minutes by car. The studios of Smith and Freuen are handicapped accessible. Refreshments by Mead School District Riverpoint Academy will be available for purchase at the Freuen Studio. No dogs are allowed at the sites.

The website, Littlespokanestudios.com, has a visual listing of the studios with images and links to each artist, and a downloadable driving map with directions.
