YWCA Spokane Annual Meeting March 28

— This Wednesday, March 28, YWCA Spokane will be presenting Avista with their annual Community Partner Award at the agency's Partners In Progress annual meeting. This event runs from 8:30-9:30am at the historic SIERR Building at McKinstry, 850 E Spokane Falls Blvd, Suite 100.

Avista is one of YWCA Spokane's longest contributing supporters, with nearly 20 years of commitment to the agency's work of eliminating racism, empowering women, standing up for social justice, helping families, and strengthening communities. In 2017 Avista became a Mission Partner to YWCA Spokane with a significant 3-year financial commitment that provides a lifeline for women and children in Spokane who are impacted by domestic violence, homelessness, and unemployment.

Avista's critical support helps to bridge the gap between the expenses incurred by YWCA Spokane while serving clients, and the grants received from state, local, and private parties. In addition, YWCA Spokane acknowledges the invaluable investment of time and resources provided by Avista and their team to update and upgrade the YWCA Spokane's information technology infrastructure.
