Jeremy Tangen opens Boombox Pizza

Restaurateur Jeremy Tangen has opened Boombox Pizza, Spokane's newest addition to the food/beverage/entertainment scene, at 221 N Division between Main and Spokane Falls Blvd. Boombox offers New York style pizzas along with a menu of gourmet salads, hot wings, cheesy breads and more. The cocktails from behind the bar include a 32oz Bloody Mary garnished with all the fixings including a slice of pizza on top!

Tangen, who also owns several other iconic local restaurants including PRESS, Borracho, Gaslamp and Fast Eddies (my personal favorite), has implemented some unique and eye-catching design concepts into this new venture. The 1990's music-themed interior includes a variety of boomboxes, colorful artwork of your favorite musicians of that era and even has and entire wall made of reclaimed speaker boxes.

Boombox plans on hosting trivia and karaoke nights to make use of their state-of-the-art sound system and ideal location downtown among many other entertainment-based businesses and the convention center. They also plan on hosting company parties on top of providing a popular happy hour options, including pizza available by the slice.

Boombox Pizza will be open from 11am-9pm for all ages and until 2am for the 21+ crowd looking for late night fun.

Get more info on Boombox Pizza on Facebook and Instagram.
