LaunchPad INW Moves Offices. To open new LaunchPad Lounge and Training Center

— LaunchPad Inland Northwest LLC, the Spokane-based professional-education and social-media services company, already operates the region's most popular online business networking site, www.launchpadinw.com. Soon, it will complement its online presence with the opening of The LaunchPad Lounge and Training Center, a trendy new downtown space where people can work, meet, and network face to face.

LaunchPad INW has leased 1,000 square feet of floor space on the first floor of the 1889 Building, at 120 N. Stevens street. Remodeling work is scheduled to be completed in the next few weeks, and the LaunchPad Lounge and Training Center is expected to open by the end of November. In addition to the first-floor space, the company has taken 1,000 square feet of office space on the third floor of the building and already has moved its operations there.

LaunchPad INW will use the street-level space for its workshops and some networking events, and the company's premium members will have exclusive access to the co-working space, which will provide access to high-speed Internet, printer, copier and other amenities.

Spokane wine enthusiast Josh Wade has leased 2,000 square feet of floor space in the 1889 Building, next to the envisioned LaunchPad Lounge and Training Center. Wade plans to open the Nectar Tasting Room there in early December. The new Tasting Room will feature wines from five wineries representing five different regions of Washington state. Initially, Wade said, Nectar Tasting Room will be open Thursdays from noon to 5 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 9 p.m.

The two spaces will be separated by doors when the Nectar Tasting Room is open. LaunchPad INW has partnered with Nectar, however, so that Nectar will open its doors and allow LaunchPad INW members to work from the space during the day when wine tastings aren't being offered. In return, LaunchPad INW has agreed that Nectar Tasting Room will be the sole provider of wine for all LaunchPad networking events at the facility. The two organizations are finalizing plans for additional shared services, including potential joint-member discounts.
