Dinner on the Bridge fundraiser coming Sept 14

— Women & Children's Free Restaurant & Community Kitchen will host its 2nd annual Dinner on the Bridge: Celebrating Farm-to-Fork on Friday, September 14 from 6-9pm. This special Spokane event is presented by Spokane Federal Credit Union.

Experience a celebration of regional farmers, culinary creativity and artisan producers with an alfresco dinner on the South Howard Street Channel Bridge (near the carousel) located in Riverfront Park. Your dinner will be served with regional wines and microbrews.

All proceeds from this event will enrich WCFR programs assisting and educating women, children and families living with food insecurity. 70,000 meals are provided annually by serving three weekly meals in their restaurant and delivering meals to 28 partner locations across the community. WCFR also offers adult and teen nutrition education classes with the goal of filling nutritional gaps and creating a healthier community.

For more information on the dinner and to purchase tickets, visit www.bridgedinner.org.
