Bernardo Wills Architects hires new staff members



Bernardo|Wills Architects has hired Paz Ochoa, ASLA, landscape architect, and Stan Griswold, MLA, PLA, landscape architect; and Tyler Reid, landscape architect intern.

Commissions on which Ochoa is currently working include the Spokane International Airport Felts Field Gateway Study (a master plan for the airport's historical district) and City of Spokane Parks & Recreation North Bank Regional Playground. Ochoa, who is licensed in Texas, has eight years' experience in the landscape architectural profession. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Oregon. Ochoa was formerly employed as a landscape architect with Spurlock Landscape Architects in San Diego, Calif.

Griswold is presently working on the South Landing HUB, a mixed-use building in Spokane for which Bernardo|Wills Architects is also supplying architectural services, and Central Valley School District New Comprehensive High School in Spokane Valley. Licensed in Washington, Idaho, Montana and Utah, Griswold has 29 years of professional experience in landscape architecture. He has an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Horticulture from Ricks College, and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree and a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Idaho. Griswold previously worked as a senior landscape architect with The Land Group, Inc. in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Reid's first assignments include the University of Idaho Basketball Arena and City of Moscow Parks & Recreation Edible Forest Park Master Plan in Idaho. Reid is presently pursuing a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree at Washington State University, where he as a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects Student Chapter.
