A new local magazine debuts in Spokane

— Spokane SAVVY LLC recently purchased partial assets of the company J & J Ventures, which included the magazine, Spokane SAVVY. J & J Ventures, a sole proprietorship owned by Jesse Martinez, sold all rights to the publication Spokane SAVYY along with the web site, email, newsletter, and database of customers, to Jeff and Judi Bailey along with other undisclosed investors. No other assets or equipment was purchased from J & J Ventures as part of this agreement.

As part of the new changes, Kevin Oliver, a long time Spokane resident and media professional, will be heading up the magazine as the General Manager, while Judi Bailey moves to the General Sales Manager role. Oliver, who was the Sales Manager under Jesse Martinez, has a great deal of experience in publications as he was the GSM and GM of Target Media NW which produces thirteen publications in Eastern Washington. Bailey, who also has experience producing publications, recently moved here from the west side of the state to enjoy a better lifestyle with her family.

The vision of Spokane SAVVY going forward will be to contribute valuable support to the Spokane community by developing a partnership through trusted relationships and becoming the premiere local venue to promote and advertise local businesses, writers, artists, and the lifestyles and people of Spokane.

Spokane SAVVY is distributed exclusively to waiting rooms all over the area including all medical and dental offices, chiropractic offices, physical therapists, as well as hair and nail salons and coffee shops. "Basically anywhere a group of people are sitting and waiting with nothing better to do than read a local magazine", added Oliver. "We want multiple people to read each magazine instead of one person taking it home and throwing it away". Spokane SAVVY also distributes a monthly newsletter that is emailed to over 1,100 people as well as having the entire publication online. In addition, nearly 900 fans follow Spokane SAVVY via Facebook, and that number grows weekly. For more information about Spokane SAVVY Magazine or Spokane SAVVY LLC email info@spokanesavvy.com.
