St. Joseph Family Center honored

— St. Joseph Family Center was presented with the non-profit of the year award by the Spokane Holistic Chamber of Commerce for 2010. This award recognizes the excellence of the Center's non-profit services where a person can enhance and integrate his or her spiritual life, emotional, mental and physical wellness through a variety of offerings in one convenient location.

St. Joseph Family Center, a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia, has been responding to the needs of the Spokane community since 1890. Today, the Center's mission is to provide counseling, spirituality, healing arts and hospitality in a contemplative environment while welcoming all faiths.

The people who come to St. Joseph Family Center are seeking help to improve their mind, body and spirit with a professional, caring and family-oriented staff. The Center offers a wide range of classes and workshops tailored to different life circumstances. St. Joseph Family Center continues to be an active part of healing and enhancing the citizens of Spokane. To learn more about the Center, visit www.sjfconline.org.
