Rachael Scdoris to speak at Kids at Heart Lunch, March 3

— Sled dog racer Rachael Scdoris will speak at the sixth annual Kids at Heart charity lunch, Thursday, March 3, at 11:30 am, at the Spokane Convention Center. Money raised supports the children and families served by Sacred Heart Children's Hospital.

Scdoris was born with a rare vision disorder and has overcome extraordinary odds to become the first legally blind athlete to complete the grueling Iditarod sled dog race. Her story of hope, courage and determination has inspired audiences across the country.

Sacred Heart Children's Hospital is the only full-service children's hospital between Seattle and Minneapolis, caring for the most critically ill and injured children in our region. Over the past five years, the Kids at Heart lunch has helped raise over $450,000 to ensure all families have access to pediatric excellence - close to home and regardless of ability to pay.

A minimum donation of $100 per person is requested. Reserve your seat by calling 509-474-2819 or visit www.kidsatheartcharitylunch.org.
