They’ve been providing quality roofing products and services to thousands of customers, 12 months a year, since 1907. The company, still a family business now headed by owner Jeff Sitton, works on both residential and commercial roofs all over the Inland Northwest. They offer replacement, repair, cleaning and maintenance for roofs of all kinds, and their work is 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Their website is spokaneroofingcompany.com.

The newly expanded Providence Mount Carmel Hospital in Colville began seeing patients in its new facility June 15. The $34 million expansion and renovation project includes 25 acute care patient rooms, a critical care unit, two new surgical suites, an expanded emergency department adjacent to a new diagnostic and imaging unit, and an obstetric department with additional labor and delivery rooms, complete with jetted tubs. The hospital features private rooms, natural lighting and a new café and bistro-styled courtyard for patients and visitors. Additional space accommodates the latest technology and places clinical services in close proximity to enhance patient flow and assist staff and physicians in providing immediate care. Each year, the staff and physicians at Providence Mount Carmel admit more than 1,400 patients, deliver approximately 225 babies, and see approximately 7,500 patients in the emergency department. The comprehensive imaging center, clinical laboratory, non-invasive cardiovascular and rehabilitation services collectively provide care to more than 26,000 patients annually. Construction of the new facility began in 2007 and finished ahead of schedule and under budget. The 70,000 square feet of new and remodeled space replaces the 55-year-old hospital, which is being used for administration, education and support services. Residents of the Colville area, working with the Providence Mount Carmel Foundation, raised more than $1 million for the new facility.
